Final Wiki Contributions
This Final Wiki Contributions activity is nothing other than a continuation
of the Draft Wiki activity. If you are happy with
your Draft Wiki Contributions, then you do not need
to do anything further. The bulk of your score from the overall collection of
wiki activities will come from my personal assessment of your work.
I'm personally
interested in the ideas that come out of this exercise, so I will read and
evaluate each student's contributions. While reading and considering your
ideas, I will come to a conclusion about how valuable they are, and this
assessment will determine your grade. While this sort of grading is
inherently subjective, I plan on using the following grading rubric:
| Grade |
Score in Points |
Criteria |
| A |
48 |
Significant and original contributions to a wiki. Length and
quality are more important than quantity. Well written entries and /
or thoroughly edited and improved versions of existing entries. |
| B |
36 |
Definitely useful contributions written in an appropriate
manner. Either the scope, scale or originality is less than expected
of outstanding work. |
| C |
24 |
Supporting entries or ideas which help flesh out existing
content. Entries are of value, but they show less research, are
supported by fewer facts or analysis, or are written less clearly. |
| D |
12 |
Few or insignificant entries and edits which are of questionable
value. |
| F |
0 |
No wiki entries made of positive value |
