BA 496 - Marketing Research

Winter 2007

College of Business, Oregon State University

BA496 Winter 2007 Announcements

I know you are busy, but you should check with the COB Advising office and Career Planning to look for available INTERNSHIPS. While going to Salem or Portland on a weekly basis may be tough for most students, there may be local internships of which you can take advantage. Remember, marketing works best when you can DIFFERENTIATE your product or service from your competitors, and an internship may help create or reinforce your USP.

Cool people come to campus as part of the State Farm Visiting Fellows program of the Austin Entrepreneurship Program in Weatherford Hall - check the schedule for those that might interest you. This is a great opportunity to begin building your personal network. Finding the job that is the best match for your skills and interests is not easy - this is where your network of contacts can play a crucial role.

This page was revised and is very 'bare bones' as students are using Blackboard. If you have any questions about this information, please e-mail me at the address below. Thanks, Hal
