Team Challenge I

WE NEED A NAME for the Team Challenge
Competition that we will be running in BA160/161/62 class for the 2006/2007
academic year. We want a name that is creative, inventive and inspiring (i.e.,
not completely lame).
So for the first challenge - NAME THE COMPETITION:
100 points will be awarded to each team that submits to
100 additional points will be award to the team that submits the winning name.
Winning name will be selected by a panel of 3 OSU Business Professors.
Teams might consider looking to the text for suggestions (perhaps naming the
competition after one of the founding fathers of entrepreneurships) - others
might turn to the history of OSU or the
Just think of a something clever and witty and send it forward - alternatively
- send in anything to make sure your team earns at least the 100 points.
Remember - the deadline is Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 6:00 pm.

Create a Team
An additional 100 points will be awarded
if the picture and mission statement are also sent to
A digital camera can be made available to
any team of students who send in a request.
There will be bonus points awarded for
the best picture & the best mission statement –
100 points for 1st place, 75
points for 2nd place, and 50 points for 3rd place
Deadline for submissions is 5:00 pm

Team pictures and mission statement
should be dropped off in hard copy format at

Team Challenge III
Create an Elevator Pitch for your team –
the purpose is to introduce your team to the class.
The elevator pitch must follow these
rules:

entire team must actively participate

must not last more than 2 minutes

must incorporate team name into presentation
-
may be creative and entertaining but must be ‘appropriate’
for school setting –
Do Not Violate the Rules of 5
Elevator Pitches will be performed in
class Week 6 – Points will be awarded in a variety of categories.
