• Treasure Hunt wrap-up. Introduce the creating a website from scratch using a Corporate Presence wizard.

• Multimedia Exercise described in class.

• Website design basics -- Creating a winning website that people will visit: good versus bad design...how to get an "A" for your website project.

• Website Plan assignment. Use PowerPoint and Visio to prototype your website's structure.

• Create autoshapes, autoconnectors and audio files with Sound Recorder.

• Producer assignment: Use Microsoft Producer to create instructional videos and embed them in a website.  (This assignment was modified and the multimedia assignment described in class was substituted in it's place last week.)

Treasure Hunt due

• Website Project: structure of a basic website. Paint programs, image editing, digital cameras, how to use a scanner. Graphics design basics.

• Using link bars, building custom feedback forms.

• Using  a paint program to create a logo.

• Video design and conferencing basics if time allows. (Originally scheduled in Week 5.)

Midterm exam  The midterm is cancelled at this time.  Instead, there will be a short quiz next week about internet searching. The majority of the midterm (and it's associated points) will be included in the final exam.
